Marly Bervoets

During her legal studies, Marly Bervoets specialised in tax law. From 1985 to 1994, she worked as a tax lawyer in leading multinational companies. In 1995, she switched over to the Bar. At Braeckmans lawyers, Marly Bervoets handles mostly cases that fall directly or indirectly under company law or law of contracts.

The academic activities of Marly Bervoets are also situated in the field of business law. In 2007, she obtained a so-called Master-after-Master in Business Law (Master in Business Law) at Universiteit Antwerpen (Antwerp University). In her capacity as a teaching assistant at that university, Marly Bervoets currently teaches revision classes in law of obligations, as well as being responsible for the academic guidance given to students in the Master-after-Master training in Business Law. This training is intended for lawyers who already have some practical experience.

Thanks to her long practical experience with tax and company jurisprudence, as well as her up-to-date academic knowledge, Marly Bervoets is a valuable asset to the firm Braeckmans Lawyers.
